With two spacious bedrooms, a fully fitted kitchen and cosy wood-burning stove to add to the barn’s original features, Glebe Barn is the perfect holiday base for walkers, explorers and those just looking for a relaxing break in the countryside.
Woodbastwick is just 7 miles from historic Norwich and located on the River Bure, within The Broads National Park and close to Bure Marshes NNR (National Nature Reserve). Woodbastwick is a wonderful base for Norfolk Broads holidays.
This self-contained holiday accommodation is within walking distance of the popular Fur and Feather Inn; a traditional thatched pub and restaurant serving award-winning real ales produced right next door at Woodfordes Brewery.
The holiday barn is independently owned and adjacent to the proprietors. Owners Di & Frank Eliel are passionate about Norfolk and look forward to welcoming you. They will ensure your stay is as enjoyable as possible.

Glebe Barn's facilities
Built in the 17th century, Glebe Barn has been sympathetically renovated to retain some original features whilst offering all of the modern conveniences you would expect from quality holiday accommodation.
The barn’s self contained garden and patio area offers the opportunity to relax and enjoy the peaceful nature of the countryside.
The accommodation includes:

- Character living room with wood-burning stove, original beams and exposed brickwork
- Television, comfortable furniture, wi-fi access, DVD and stereo/radio
- Fully fitted kitchen including: oven, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer

Glebe Barn will comfortably sleep 2-4 people in the two bedrooms and there is also a single sofabed in the living room if required and upon request.
Glebe Barn was fully renovated in January 2011 to a high standard by the owners and represents excellent value for money. It has everything you could want from a holiday letting in Norfolk.
Useful information
Our barn is 300 years old and despite being modernised with everything you would expect of a modern cottage holiday home, unfortunately Glebe Barn is not suitable for guests in wheelchairs. There is a small step inside, narrow doorways that come with a house of this age and some tight turns from room to room. Glebe Barn has a very pretty secluded garden however it is not fully enclosed therefore it may not be suitable for families with small children. Given this, regrettably, we are also unable to accept pets except guide dogs. Glebe Barn is a non-smoking property. Please contact us for prices and availability.
