Woodfordes Brewery produces cask ales such as Wherry Bitter, Nelson's Revenge, Norfolk Nog and Headcracker. These ales are available at The Fur & Feather Inn.  An excellent breakfast served there daily.

This estate village has been owned by the Cator family since 1807. The centre of which is a farm, home to the famous Woodbastwick herd of pedigree British White cattle which was established here in 1840 and is thought to be the oldest herd in the world kept on the same land under the same ownership.

The flint church, a fine example of Norfolk thatching, is 14th century with its first vicar being appointed in 1311 and is unusual in being dedicated to two saints. One of whom, St Fabian, was an early pope and the other, St Sebastian, a roman soldier. Its interior is Victorian having been comprehensively restored in the 19th century with every window containing stained glass.

Adjacent to thGlebe Barn guests recommend the Fur & Feather Pube church is the village green with its round thatched pump house – a source of water for the villagers in years gone by.

Woodbastwick is near to the Norfolk Broads and the villages of Wroxham and Hoveton. There are substantial reed beds and fen woodland, where you will find extensive bird life including marsh harriers, warblers, bitterns, and bearded tits.
